party post } { which one can say of any attractive woman with half a brain.

In the height of summer, Daneca is in charge of planning the annual movie in the park. The set up is simple, all she has to do is find the supplies and figure out what movie to show. Which is why in late August, the sun starts to set. (It doesn't really "set", but Daneca calls in a favor with a certain god of the sun to dim the bright summer light to something better.
Something with ambiance.)
Stalls of food and merchants renting and selling blankets ring the park by the lake, lit by fairy lights and Chinese lanterns, and the screen is nestled beneath a pair of looming oak trees that offer a bit more shade for the movie. It's a double feature this year -- The World is Not Enough and Casino Royale. Someone couldn't decide between Pierce Brosnan's James Bond and Daniel Craig's James Bond and someone -- cough, Elena -- offered the brilliant compromise of "why not both?"
Both. Both is good.
So tuck in. Enjoy yourselves! Enjoy shirtless Daniel Craig, you know you want to.

She and Rafe are one of those cavity-inducing couples where they still ask each other out on dates and actually get dressed up for them despite the fact that they live together and see each other every day and have no need to actually impress each other, but they do it anyway. In this particular instance, Hana left for her date right from work, which involved doing a quick shower and change at the temple before she makes her way out to the field to see about getting a spot.
Or if Rafe already beat her to it.
Either way, she's weaving her way through the crowd, pushing herself up on her toes to try and see if her date is anywhere to be seen, as well as checking out the various merchants to see if there's anything worth buying.
Also, she has funnel cake. She couldn't help herself, really.

Thing is, he also got her a funnel cake, so now she has two funnel cakes to enjoy for the evening.
If that doesn't call her attention, then maybe his arms waving about in the air will. The place is more packed than he expected, but he's found them a perfect spot aways away, and brought everything they might need with him, including but not limited to: a picnic blanket, a picnic basket with various assortment of goodies, and a pillow or two. He's crushing this whole boyfriend thing.
Don't even lie, he is.

She catches the sight of his arms waving and she makes her way closer, meeting him with a grin and a kiss once she gets close enough.
"This place is way crazier than I thought it would be."

"I'm starting to think they'll just take any excuse to host events at this point."

"That's true," he acknowledges, the words a murmur against the top of her head. He smiles against her hair, a bit, a surefire sign there's teasing to come. "You wouldn't really murder me, would you? Here I thought I'd be an exception."

However, she would totally shift into tiger form to rip the throats out of anyone else who tried to. Hana is generally not a violent person, but she also has zero tolerance for people who try and hurt her family.

It's a thing from when she was a kid. It always felt like she was eating clouds.
"So, serious question. Marry, fuck, kill: Pierce Brosnan!James Bond, Sean Connery!James Bond, and Daniel Craig!James Bond."
Sarah asks the difficult questions.

"Well, I feel like marrying Daniel Craig is a recipe for death, so I'm going to just bang the hell out of that and walk away. But I think the problem is, marry James Bond just seems like trouble waiting to happen, in any incarnation."

Hana has very strong feelings about ABBA, okay? They were an integral part of her musical education.

There's just good taste all around in this group.
