Damon Salvatore ends up in Teleios after the end of Chicago, after too many decades in a world of hell where he lost track of himself and lost track of the meaning of anything. They make you pay for everything, and he has plenty to pay for. It was no less than he deserves so he doesn't talk about it.

He's grown more than any Damon does back in Mystic Falls, but he still has the typical Damon charm, the snark to it.

He arrives to this city to find Elena has married Stefan. Stefan and Elena are married. Husband and wife. They. are. together. Yes.

In the height of summer, Daneca is in charge of planning the annual movie in the park. The set up is simple, all she has to do is find the supplies and figure out what movie to show. Which is why in late August, the sun starts to set. (It doesn't really "set", but Daneca calls in a favor with a certain god of the sun to dim the bright summer light to something better.

Something with ambiance.)

Stalls of food and merchants renting and selling blankets ring the park by the lake, lit by fairy lights and Chinese lanterns, and the screen is nestled beneath a pair of looming oak trees that offer a bit more shade for the movie. It's a double feature this year -- The World is Not Enough and Casino Royale. Someone couldn't decide between Pierce Brosnan's James Bond and Daniel Craig's James Bond and someone -- cough, Elena -- offered the brilliant compromise of "why not both?"

Both. Both is good.

So tuck in. Enjoy yourselves! Enjoy shirtless Daniel Craig, you know you want to.

Noah and Sarah head back to their loft after the night at the bar where they see friends (and not so friends), and Sarah heals him from the fight he'd gotten into earlier in the night, and they dance and talk about a future they can both see, and have incredible sex in the bathroom. It's already been a fantastic night in Noah's opinion, but there's always something special about coming home.

It's what the loft is to him now.

It's home.

He can't remember the last time he felt like he had a home. Maybe when he was really little.

He unlocks the door, holding the door open for him as he reaches for her hand to lead her inside, with that smirky, self satisfied look on his face. There's the feeling of the pick against his chest, and it still fills him with indescribable warmth.

So the thing about wishing for home and accidentally winding up with your place of employment is that that employment can now transfer to Teleios. Cami's had Rousseau's for about six months now, and she's managed to change it into the place that Sophie and Jane Anne loved to something that's a little more something of Teleios, even if she kept a lot of the New Orleans flair. It's something she couldn't bring herself to take away, that memory of home, even if she's far, far away.

The upper floors have been modified into a small loft for her and Hope, something simple and comfortable that's currently loaded with baby toys because when you're being spoiled by your Aunt Cami, you can never have too many. She still doesn't know why Hope came with her when she was brought into Teleios, but she is going to do everything in her power to keep her safe until Klaus our Hayley get here. It's not much power, given the measly human of it all, but that's why she hires attractive, strapping supernatural gentlemen to do her dirty work for her.

Currently she's behind the bar, with Hope in her playpen that she worked in there, just so she can keep an eye on her. She's more than willing to pour you a drink, listen to your troubles and woes and make sure that you leave her bar with your mind feeling a little lighter. After all, there's nothing more dangerous than a bartender who also happens to be a psychologist. She'll get what you're worried about out of you sooner or later.
