party post } { drinks are on me

So the thing about wishing for home and accidentally winding up with your place of employment is that that employment can now transfer to Teleios. Cami's had Rousseau's for about six months now, and she's managed to change it into the place that Sophie and Jane Anne loved to something that's a little more something of Teleios, even if she kept a lot of the New Orleans flair. It's something she couldn't bring herself to take away, that memory of home, even if she's far, far away.
The upper floors have been modified into a small loft for her and Hope, something simple and comfortable that's currently loaded with baby toys because when you're being spoiled by your Aunt Cami, you can never have too many. She still doesn't know why Hope came with her when she was brought into Teleios, but she is going to do everything in her power to keep her safe until Klaus our Hayley get here. It's not much power, given the measly human of it all, but that's why she hires attractive, strapping supernatural gentlemen to do her dirty work for her.
Currently she's behind the bar, with Hope in her playpen that she worked in there, just so she can keep an eye on her. She's more than willing to pour you a drink, listen to your troubles and woes and make sure that you leave her bar with your mind feeling a little lighter. After all, there's nothing more dangerous than a bartender who also happens to be a psychologist. She'll get what you're worried about out of you sooner or later.

"I'm going to take her dancing, okay?" Its tossed back to Cami gently, as the baby makes a grab for Kali's ponytail and shoves it (and her fist) directly into her mouth. Kali seems relatively unfazed, her ponytail is amazing, of course a tiny human would find it appetizing.
So once she gets the go ahead, she sweeps the baby out into the bar proper to dance her around by the jukebox. Kali is a very good babysitter because she will punch anyone that so much as looks at the little girl wrong. Maybe not the best influence, but definitely a protective one.

Logan Hale is not the bar type, but he'll go wherever his brothers happ. He's not too settled in terms of this place. In Chicago, he'd been waiting for the planets to crash, for their father to catch up with them, to do what he needed to do to keep his brothers safe. Then he ends up in another universe for a year before he ever ends up in Teleios unlike most of his brothers (and living without them for a year was like being lost in a desert, the world didn't make sense), and suddenly the threat isn't there in the same way. There are new threats, and he's been researching.
He smiles fondly at the sight of Hope scooped up in arms, dancing with the blond. Logan catches a moment when she goes after someone who might have looked sideways at a baby being here.
"Hope couldn't ask for a better defender," Logan comments. "Or dance partner."

Kali turns at the sound of compliments, smile set on her features because she's a glutton for praise. "Thank you, it's true." Modesty, however, is not in the cards for today. She shifts Hope to the opposite hip, which prompts the baby to grab at her shirt and stick her face on Kali's chest like these are mine now.
"I'm a very good babysitter, I'm glad that you appreciate this."

That pic is the cutest ever .-.Logan lifts his eyebrows with a tiny smile when the baby sticks her face on Kali's chest. He glances away. The tiny smile widens further but he is a gentleman, okay? Actually, he's most frequently known as a stick-in-the-mud of the Hale brothers with his tendency to get lost in research while they're throwing big parties in the mansion. He bites down on his lip slightly.
"I do. A baby needs someone who can entertain them and keep them safe. Most important parts of being a babysitter. You want anything to drink?" See? He's a gentleman, and he is about to get a drink of his own so he wouldn't want to leave her hanging.

She glances down at said baby, smoothing her palm over wispy hair. "Hear that, you need me. I'm very important."

It's not long before he returns with both the lemonade and the bottle, and he offers to take the baby if she needs. He can feed her. He used to do this with his little brothers all the time except for Adam who took care of him. "I'm Logan Hale by the way. I don't come to the bar as often as my brothers so I don't think we've met before." Yes, he's another one. Well, one of the Chicago-ones. Not the other ones... There are lots of Hales running around.
no subject
Not that she can't do it. It's just difficult.
"There's a lot of Hales around here. Like, a lot. So many."

He holds the bottle up for Hope while the baby chows down, and he smiles, laughing softly at what Kali says.
"Even more than I'm used to their being. There've always been a lot of us brothers, but we met other Hales here." There's a pause. "Don't tell anyone but we're taking over."
It's a soft joke.

Sipping her lemonade, she attempts to focus back on the conversation. What were they talking about? Hales, right. "At the very least, you can have your own basketball team."
no subject
It's just a unique thing to say to finding out about so many Hales, which is why it makes him smile.
"We could, and we'd probably have an unfair advantage over a lot of other teams." Given him and all his brothers are werewolves. He doesn't know that the other Hales are werewolves too. Seriously, what is up with all these Hales? "How long have you been in Teleios?"

"Are you going to have a party?"
no subject
"That's probably something I should decide, huh? Haven't thought about it."
no subject
Although it is a little bit because she wants to attend said party. She's just a secret party girl, okay, don't judge her life.

Cami catches Kali on her way back to the bar, reaching for Hope with a small smile before letting her rest on her hip. "Did you have fun dancing with Kali?" The baby is basically beaming so Cami is going to take that as a yes.
no subject
"I think Hope made a friend." She slides into a seat at the bar, twisting to keep facing Cami. "I might have too, can't be sure."

Leaning over, she presses a kiss to Hope's forehead. "Night tiny human."
AND OFF SHE DARTS, FAREWELL.
