party post } { which one can say of any attractive woman with half a brain.

In the height of summer, Daneca is in charge of planning the annual movie in the park. The set up is simple, all she has to do is find the supplies and figure out what movie to show. Which is why in late August, the sun starts to set. (It doesn't really "set", but Daneca calls in a favor with a certain god of the sun to dim the bright summer light to something better.
Something with ambiance.)
Stalls of food and merchants renting and selling blankets ring the park by the lake, lit by fairy lights and Chinese lanterns, and the screen is nestled beneath a pair of looming oak trees that offer a bit more shade for the movie. It's a double feature this year -- The World is Not Enough and Casino Royale. Someone couldn't decide between Pierce Brosnan's James Bond and Daniel Craig's James Bond and someone -- cough, Elena -- offered the brilliant compromise of "why not both?"
Both. Both is good.
So tuck in. Enjoy yourselves! Enjoy shirtless Daniel Craig, you know you want to.

The owner of said boat is lounging on the boat's deck sipping soda and eating a plate of cookies all by herself while she watches the movie across the park even though she can't really hear the words, so you're welcome to join her. Well, that is if she's not actually out on the lake with a customer. You're definitely free to be one of her customers.

A charming smile crosses his face.
"Now that's a brilliant idea. You've got a beautiful sailboat here."

"I know, don't I?" HA! Modesty and humility is not her style, but Jane is proud of her little idea. Finally setting her gaze on Ethan (w o w), she pushes herself up to lean against the railing of her boat.
It's name, in handpainted fancy blue letters, is "Seaductress" because Jane is both artistic and ridiculous. She pats the side of it fondly. "Thanks! I did a favor for Poseidon and he gave it to me for my birthday. I know it was just my favor, but it felt like a present, you know?"

Ethan sends her a wide smile at her response. In his opinion, modesty and humility are overrated. He watches her from where he stands in front of the boat as she leans up against the railing of it. His gaze still drifts over it. The light, amused smile tugs across his face comes when he reads the letters written on the boat when she pats the side of it.
"Excellent timing at least. Might as well think of it as a present and from Poseidon of all the agents..." He steps up to her with the little smirk on his face, lifting his hand up to hover it over the Seaductress as he lifts an eyebrow in her direction. "May I touch your boat?"

"You may definitely touch my boat." A beat. "Hell, you can climb aboard if you want."
Yes, that sounds like a come on and yes, she means it as a come on. Subtlety is not Jane's strong suit, it never has been and there is little doubt it ever will become a strong suit.

"I know absolutely nothing about boats, but she seems amazing," he says, sinking down on it across from her as he rests his chin on his hand while he looks at her. The tiny smile on his face widens. His gaze lingers on her face before he stretches his hand out toward her to shake it. "I'm Ethan Hale by the way."

Max is ... generally out of touch with stuff like this. "What's happening over there?"

She squints up at him. "Dude you should shower first. You smell like fish. Like... so bad. Do you wanna hit the head?" She gestures to the small door at the other side of the boat where the galley and bunks and bathroom are located.
