In the height of summer, Daneca is in charge of planning the annual movie in the park. The set up is simple, all she has to do is find the supplies and figure out what movie to show. Which is why in late August, the sun starts to set. (It doesn't really "set", but Daneca calls in a favor with a certain god of the sun to dim the bright summer light to something better.

Something with ambiance.)

Stalls of food and merchants renting and selling blankets ring the park by the lake, lit by fairy lights and Chinese lanterns, and the screen is nestled beneath a pair of looming oak trees that offer a bit more shade for the movie. It's a double feature this year -- The World is Not Enough and Casino Royale. Someone couldn't decide between Pierce Brosnan's James Bond and Daniel Craig's James Bond and someone -- cough, Elena -- offered the brilliant compromise of "why not both?"

Both. Both is good.

So tuck in. Enjoy yourselves! Enjoy shirtless Daniel Craig, you know you want to.

She laughs softly at that, before moving to take some of the food out of the way so that she can finally see Ben's beautiful face from behind all the delicious edible treats. She is also happy to greet him with a smile.

"Hi, Ben."

Ben sounds and looks sheepish, but it is an adorable sort of sheepish. His grin widens at the sight of her, because who doesn't like Cami O'Connell? People that can't be trusted, that's who. "Taking a night off from the madness?"

Does he mean the bar or babies? It's hard to say.

He means both. The answer is probably both. "Yep. I figured after all my hard work at the bar I owed myself a night of senseless violence and British spies." She flashes him a smile. "What about you? A James Bond fan?"

Um. It's more that he's a Silena fan, but saying that out loud still makes him a nervous thing. So he just smiles that trademark, lopsided smile of his and shakes his head. "Nah. I mean, the guy is smooth, and you gotta love a classic spy movie, but I'm just kinda here 'cause everyone else is."

To be fair, she would have considered being a Silena fan a very legitimate reason to be here, but that's because she encourages romance in all it's incarnations. "Considering that's pretty much the reason I'm here too? I can't say I blame you there."
